Every Ethereum address can only hold one grave, therefore go to the cemetery and connect with that account you wish to store the grave.
Search for “GO TO CEMETERY”
Press “Setup a new grave on this address…” Button and a window will pop open, in this window you can add all the data now.
Here is a short explanation about the input fields:
Upload an small portrait image of the one, you want to perpetuate by first chosing a file and afterwards clicking upload. The optimal size here is 180×300 pixel.
- Card Background
Every grave card can have a background image, if you want to add one, upload one here by first chosing a file and afterwards clicking upload.
The name of the deceased one.
- Date of Birth
Birthday, -month, and -year of the deceased one. You can pick the date from the datepicker or enter by hand (mm/dd/yyyy).
- Date of Death
Deathday, -month, and -year of the deceased one. You can pick the date from the datepicker or enter by hand (mm/dd/yyyy) .
- Stone Text
Short text under the data of the deceased one. Here you can let your creativity flow.
- Grave Position
Latitude & longitude data of the physical grave. You can get this data by example by clicking on the map you can also write it manually in the fields.
The creation of graves does cost nothing more than the transaction cost to add the data to the blockchain. To add a grave, you don’t have to pay a fee or anything else.
If you finished the entries and rechecked them all, after that you can click the Create/Edit-Button in this window. Your wallet provider should take over now.
After paying the transaction cost it takes some seconds for the network to write the data but after this, your grave will now be in Ether forever!
